About

I'm a product designer and interdisciplinary artist, based in New York City, via Panamá.

As a product designer, I work across research, strategy, and client pitches for brands including Benjamin Moore, Macy's, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, Google, and Moleskine. My career began at R/GA and MRY-LBi; in 2013 I founded TEOSANTOS, a design consultancy focused on strategy, UX, and cross-cultural product development. My instinct for what moves a room and what moves a project forward comes from the same place as my love of dance — a lifelong practice of connecting through movement, mindfulness, and culture — and it's shown up just as clearly in sales, where I've excelled in both fashion and plants (plants!).

I move easily between working solo as an individual contributor and embedding as part of a larger team, between scrappy startups, global brands, and mission-driven projects. I love working with people — aligning a room full of stakeholders is as energizing to me as the focus of pushing a delivery through on my own. I'm effective at eliciting requirements and facilitating teams through the design process, arriving at clarity while hitting business goals and the optimal user experience. I'm nimble at any scale.

I've worked as a casting director for productions including Expedia's, and my bilingual fluency and cross-cultural intelligence help teams — from Panama to the U.S., and with international teams — navigate complexity with clarity.

I've brought this same clarity to mission-driven projects, organizations, and startups — including SexEd Bakeshop, Midnight Radio Show, Principled Design, and Brooklyn Balance — as well as early-stage companies like SingularDTV, Equis Labs, Tezos, and Reel (acquired by SUMA Wealth).

Complementing my design practice, I am an interdisciplinary artist working across performance, photography, drawing, and digital media. My practice centers on what I call the "code" of identity — conceptual maps that become performances, rituals, and participatory experiences, tracing everything from carnival traditions to collaborative frameworks. My work has been exhibited at Eyebeam, MIT, and Milan Design Week, and featured in WiredUK, Hurriyet, and Fashion Practice.

I've been selected for Creative Capital's Taller LatinX, and as an Associate Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts (three different times!), chosen by Linda Troeller (photography), Deborah Hay (performance), and Helina Metaferia (multidisciplinary practice).
