A snapshot of my Code: Love for dance (in public and in private), seeking truth, unity, and creativity.

I'm a Panamanian interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of performance, photography, digital media, and social practice. My work explores what I call the "code" of identity—the systems, patterns, and energies that shape us within cultural and ancestral frameworks.

I create conceptual maps that become performances, rituals, and participatory experiences. These maps trace subjects ranging from carnival traditions to collaborative frameworks, translating research into embodied practice. My methodology centers on movement as a form of knowledge-making and transformation.

Growing up in Panama during the political upheaval of the 1980s shaped my inquiry into identity, power, and reinvention. My practice interrogates how we inherit and carry cultural codes—and how we might rewrite them through decolonization of the body, mind, and spirit.

Through participatory experiences, I create space for audiences to map their own geographies and access their potential beyond inherited limitations. My practice leverages existing cultural systems while centering values of collaboration, participation, and embodied wisdom—making visible what has been marginalized while celebrating Panamanian heritage in contemporary dialogue.
